Bespoke Kitchens & Custom Cabinetry FAQ
PARVIZ Toronto
The PARVIZ Experience: A Comprehensive FAQ
About PARVIZ & Our Philosophy
What is PARVIZ Kitchens?
For nearly half a century, the PARVIZ name has been synonymous with the art of bespoke cabinetry. We are a design firm and manufacturer dedicated to transforming homes throughout Toronto and the GTA. We don't just build kitchens; we translate our clients' visions into tangible works of art—from unrivaled kitchens and serene bathroom vanities to seamless architectural built-ins—all handcrafted with a legacy of passion and precision.
What makes a PARVIZ project different?
The PARVIZ difference is defined by three core principles:
- Truly Bespoke Design: Every project is a unique creation, born from a deep, collaborative process between you and one of our Senior Designers. We do not use templates or pre-designed modules.
- Unrivaled Craftsmanship: We are artisans and manufacturers. All of our cabinetry is handcrafted in our own Richmond Hill workshop, giving us complete control over the quality of every material, cut, and finish.
- A Seamless, End-to-End Experience: We manage every detail, from the initial complimentary consultation and design to the meticulous in-house manufacturing and final, flawless installation.
What does "bespoke" truly mean at PARVIZ?
"Bespoke" at PARVIZ is a promise of absolute individuality. It means your project is designed and built from the ground up, exclusively for you. It considers the unique architecture of your home, the nuances of your lifestyle, and your personal aesthetic. The result is a space that is not only beautiful and functional but also a perfect and personal reflection of who you are.
What areas do you serve?
Our showroom is located in Richmond Hill, and we proudly serve clients across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), including Toronto, Vaughan, Markham, Oakville, and beyond. We also collaborate extensively with architects, interior designers, and custom home builders on projects throughout Ontario.
The Bespoke Process
What is the process of working with PARVIZ?
Our process is a collaborative journey designed to be as seamless and inspiring as the final result. It unfolds in four key stages:
- The Consultation: It all begins with a conversation. In your initial complimentary consultation, you will speak with a Senior PARVIZ Designer to discuss your vision, understand the scope of your project, and explore the possibilities.
- The Design: Your designer will translate your ideas into a detailed, functional, and beautiful design. We refine every detail, from the overall layout to the specific materials and hardware, ensuring the final plan is a perfect marriage of form and function.
- The Craftsmanship: Once the design is perfected, our artisans bring it to life in our Richmond Hill workshop. Using the finest materials and time-honored techniques, we handcraft every component of your project with an unwavering commitment to quality.
- The Installation: Our professional, in-house installation team ensures that every piece is fitted with precision and care, culminating in a flawless integration into your home.
How long does a PARVIZ project typically take?
Because every PARVIZ project is truly bespoke, timelines can vary based on the complexity, scale, and material selection. Following your design consultation, we will provide a detailed project proposal with a clear and reliable timeline. We believe that meticulous craftsmanship cannot be rushed, and our timelines reflect a commitment to quality above all else.
Our Products & Craftsmanship
Do you only design and build kitchens?
While our name is synonymous with the art of the kitchen, our mastery of bespoke cabinetry extends to every room of the home. We apply the same principles of design and craftsmanship to create:
- Bespoke Bathroom Vanities
- Custom Closets and Wardrobe Systems
- Architectural Built-ins and Millwork
- Home Offices, Libraries, and Entertainment Units
Where are your cabinets and vanities manufactured?
Every single piece of PARVIZ cabinetry is designed, engineered, and handcrafted in our state-of-the-art workshop, located in Richmond Hill, Ontario. This local, in-house manufacturing gives us unparalleled control over quality and allows us to ensure every detail meets our exacting standards.
What materials do you use?
We source a curated selection of the world's finest materials, from premium hardwoods and exotic veneers to state-of-the-art European laminates and hardware. During the design process, your designer will guide you through our extensive library of materials to find the perfect texture, color, and finish to bring your vision to life.
Project Logistics & Investment
How much does a PARVIZ kitchen or vanity cost?
Each of our projects is a unique commission, tailored to the specific vision and requirements of our client. As such, we do not have standard price lists. The investment for a project is determined by its scale, complexity, and the materials selected. The first step is always our complimentary design consultation, after which we can provide a detailed and transparent proposal for your specific project.
Do you collaborate with interior designers and architects?
Absolutely. We have a deep and respected history of collaborating with Toronto's leading design and architecture professionals. We see ourselves as an essential partner to the trade, helping to execute their vision with precision and craftsmanship. We welcome new collaborations and are adept at integrating into a broader project team.
Working With Us
How do I get started on my project?
The journey begins with a simple, inspiring step: a conversation. We invite you to Begin a Consultation by booking a complimentary appointment on our website. You can choose an introductory telephone call, a virtual design session, or an immersive in-person experience at our Richmond Hill showroom.
What should I bring to my first design consultation?
To make the most of our initial conversation, it is helpful to gather any inspiration you have. This could include:
- Photos from magazines or websites (like Pinterest or Houzz)
- Preliminary floor plans or architectural drawings
- A list of functional needs and desires for your new space
This helps your designer gain an immediate and clear understanding of your vision.
